I'm glad you got clean. I'm 25 years clean off the lady that skinny talks about in another song. Skinny could have been massive but got disillusioned because his record label - run by a friend - ripped him off. This album was the hottest thing in London at the time, sold 100000s and he got nothing. Even today, the record label gets all the Spotify / etc royalties. The guy - Braintax - left the UK and disappeared so Skinny can't do anything about it.

I know a lot about underground us rap and I just haven't found anyone with the talent, heart and soul of guys like Mic, Chester P, Lowkey and Akala. I like Black Thought, Aesop Rock, Immortal Technique but even I don't feel they're at this level, quite. There is a Chester P track I think you would love and I never understand why it is so overlooked even by Chester P fans. It is called Melancholic Flowers. Please react to it.
